Prof Jonathon Gray, Ko Awatea, New Zealand

With 20 plus years’ health experience and a Master’s in Public Health from Harvard, the director of Ko Awatea is an expert in healthcare and system improvement, known for his passion for collaboration and innovation.

Alongside his roles as director of Ko Awatea – the centre for health system innovation and improvement at Counties Manukau District Health Board (CM Health) – Jonathon is the Professor of Health Innovation and Improvement at Victoria University of Wellington, with visiting chairs at Auckland University of Technology (AUT) and Cardiff University, as well as being a past fellow at the Institute for Healthcare Improvement and a current fellow at Oxford Centre for Healthcare Transformation. Jonathon has a Master’s in Public Health from Harvard University.
